Pandangan hidup semacam ini tak dimiliki si perempuan. Hidupnya yang serbakekurangan justru menjerumuskan hatinya pada cinta kebendaan. Buktinya, ia tak mampu merelakan orang lain berwudhu dengan airnya, meski dengan alasan untuk beribadah. Ketidakikhlasannya adalah petunjuk bahwa ia miskin bukan karena terlepas dari cinta kebendaan melainkan “dipaksa” oleh keadaan.

Keadaan hidup seperti laki-laki ini tidak dimiliki si perempuan. Meskipun hidupnya yang sangat kekurangan malah menjerumuskan dirinya dengan mencintai kebendaan (bejana = duniawi). Bacalah kembali keatas, buktinya perempuan tersebut tidak mampu ikhlas atau ia rela ketika orang lain berwudhu dari air dalam bejananya, meskipun dengan alasan untuk beribadah sunnah pada malam hari. Ketidakikhlasan perempuan ini ialah menunjukkan bahwa ia miskin karena dipaksa oleh keadaan bukan karena terlepas dari cinta terhadap kebendaan (duniawi).

Syekh Abdul Wahhab Asy-Sya’rani menjelaskan dalam kitab yang sama bahwa zuhud adalah meninggalkan kecenderungan hati pada kesenangan duniawi, tapi bukan berarti mengosongkan tangan dari harta sama sekali. Laki-laki ini sedang membina rumah tangga dengan bekerja untuk mencukupi kebutuhan rumah tangganya serta biaya untuk anak-anaknya.
