Ustaz Arifin Ilham saat ini tengah berada di Penang, Malaysia untuk mengobati kanker nasofaring dan kelenjar getah bening yang dideritanya. Ayah dari Alvin Faiz ini diterbangkan ke Malaysia dengan pesawat jet pribadi pada Kamis (10/1/2019) pagi.

Belum terkesan update terakhir di media sosial mengenai kondisi terakhir Ustaz Arifin Ilham selagi menjalani pengobatan di Malaysia. Tetapi, kemarin malam (12/1/2019), akun Facebook K. H. Muhammad Arifin Ilham menulis catatan panjang mengenai nasib dan mati.

Curhatannya itu ia beri judul "OASE HATIKU" yang banjir komentar dan ucapan doa dari netizen.

"OASE HATIKU

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barkaatuhu.

Siapa aku? Ya, aku dari tiada, kini ada, itu juga hanya sebentar, kembali lagi tiada. Aku berasal dari ayah ibu, kakek nenek, terus ke atas sampai mendarat di Datuk manusia, Nabi Adam dan Ibu Hawa. Ujung-ujungnya kami wajib menyebut kami merupakan anak cucu Adam, keturunan Adam ‘alaihis salam.

Sementara bahan dasar moyang kami itu dari tanah, kini di atas tanah, semua yang kulihat dari tanah, tak lama lagi aku pun masuk ke dalam tanah. Ya, aku yang rutin apik memelihara tubuh ini, nyatanya calon bangkai yang berkalang tanah.

Aku bakal masuk ruang sunyi senyap berbantal tanah, kepala utara, kaki selatan miring ke kiblat. Belatung, cacing, aroma basi menyerengai dalam daging tulang yang rutin kurawat saat nasib.

Harapan kami pasti Allah menjadikan kuburan kita, Taman Surga-Nya. Aamiin.

Astaghfirullah, inilah yang membikin aku terus-menerus memohon ampunan-Nya. 

Inilah yang membikinku semangat dalam beribadah, bernikmat dalam shalat, tersanjung berlama-lama sujud di penghujung malam, menangis, dan menyelimuti diri dengan rasa takut bakal murka dan azab-Nya.

Allahu Akbar, inilah yang membikin gelora asa terpatri kuat dalam memburu ridha dan Syurga-Nya; inilah yang mendesakkan rasa rindu bertemu dg-Nya. Inilah energi amal sholehku, dakwahku.

Inilah yang menjadi asbab bersemangat dalam mencari rejeki yang halal, kuat bestari dalam beramal silaturahim, sayang pada keluarga, sayang pada semua apalagi pada yang papa lebih-lebih pada saudara-saudara yang tertindas.

Merenungi siapa aku, menjadikan diri ini disibukkan dg pembetulan diri, dan sama sekali tak berminat mencari aib orang lain, aib diri saja seabrek abrek.

Lunglai telah apabila teringat bakal siapa diri ini. Tertatih jasad ini dalam mengimbangi gelora ruh dan hati yang terus berjibaku menuju-Nya.

Terluap "khouf" rasa takut luar biasa kpd-Nya dan "rojaa" berharap sangat kpdNya. 

Bergelayut kecewa berbaur tersanjung. Putaran waktu di dunia ini terlalu sebentar untuk mengumpulkan bekal nasib selama-lamanya.

Sebentar, tetapi menentukan kondisi di Akhirat kelak. Dunia bukan untuk main-main apalagi maksiat. Umurku tak sepanjang perjuanganku. Sementara dosaku tak sedikit, ilmuku tak lebih, kondisi inilah membikin waktu nasib ini terasa terus sebentar.

Duhai kalian, Abah yang telah berpulang, Mama, anak-anakku, istri-istipsu, anak-anak yatimku, anak-anak santipsu, keluargaku, guru-guruku, para sahabatku, jamaah zikir, juga anda sahabat FB-ku, instgram-ku, saudara-sauadaraku di Palestina, Afghan, Irak, Suriah, Yaman, Mesir, Afrika Tengah, Ughur China, Khasmir, Rohingya, Patani, Moro dan seluruh umat, juga negeri Indonesia tercinta ini, telah masuk merenggut hati dan pikiranku.
