Di Kediri, warung Bakso Pak Ndut menjadi warung yang terkenal dan diminati oleh tidak sedikit orang. Yang membikinnya ramai, salah satunya lantaran harganya yang super terjangkau. 

Bayangkan dengan uang sebesar 2 ribu rupiah, dapat menikmati satu porsi bakso berisi lima biji pentol dalam satu mangkok, harga yang sangatlah terjangkau. Warung bakso ini berada di Jalan Raya Desa Besuk, Kecamatan Gurah, Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur, sedangkan nama warung ini diambil dari nama panggilan pemilik warung, Muhamad Mansyur, yang sehari-hari lebih dikenal sebagai Pak Ndut.

Apabila merasa tidak lebih kenyang, ada paket pilihan kedua, yakni paket dobel yang harganya dua kali lipat dengan menu normal. Harganya sesuai dengan kelipatan menu normal, yakni 4 ribu rupiah saja, berisi 10 pentol satu mangkok.

Kholifah, istri Pak Nndut, menjamin bahan yang dipakai untuk membikin bakso, 100 persen halal, yakni daging sapi dicampur daging ayam."Alhamdulillah dengan bakso 2 ribu dengan bahan campuran daging ayam dan daging sapi," katanya.

Sebab bakso yang dipasarkan begitu terjangkau, tidak jarang ia mendapat pekualitasan negatif dari beberapa orang. Bahkan, ia mengaku sempat difitnah oleh seseorang melewati unggahan di medsos. Dalam unggahan itu, oknum ini menyatakan apabila bakso yang dibuatnya memakai bahan yang tidak halal.

"Yang memfitnah saya waktu itu statusnya tetap pelajar. Pihak orangtua bersangkutan akhirnya meminta maaf dan kami tidak sehingga melapor. Sebetulnya kami telah siap mengabarkannya ke polisi waktu itu," ujarnya.

Kholifah berpendapat orang yang telah memfitnahnya tersebut mempunyai pengetahuan rendah dan ia memaklumi faktor itu. Atas kejadian ini, ia hanya dapat mengambil hikmahnya.

"Alhamdulillah kami tetap bersyukur. Mungkin itu dari Allah memberi kami cobaan," tuturnya.

Keberhasilan usaha bakso Pak Ndut nyatanya mendapat perhatian dari para pelaku usaha kuliner lainnya. Tidak sedikit pemilik usaha kuliner lain meniru alias mengikuti jejaknya berjualan bakso dengan harga tarif sama. Tetapi, faktor itu tidak dapat berawet dan mereka tidak sedikit yang bangkrut menutup usahanya.

"Ada juga yang coba membuka usaha dengan harga yang sama, tapi enggak lama tutup," ujar Kholifah.

Sistem Penjualan

Dengan rasa pentolnya yang kenyal, dipadu dengan kuahnya yang gurih di lidah, membikin bakso Pak Ndut begitu tidak sedikit digemari pencinta kuliner di Kediri.

Di warung bakso Pak Ndut, selain menjual bakso semata, melainkan juga makanan dan minuman pendamping pelengkap lainnya, semacam minuman Es Janggel alias Cao dipasarkan satu gelas seharga Rp 1.500. Ada juga makanan lontong, tahu kuning khas Kediri, dan tahu bakso.

Menjual makanan dan minuman pendamping merupakan salah satu strateginya. Dirinya mengambil keuntungan dari menu tambahan yang dipasarkannya. Apabila dari penjualan bakso tidak untung, ia dapat mengambil keuntungan dari penjualan makanan dan minuman lainnya.

"Makanan dan minuman ini kan dapat menyubsidi, keuntungan dapat diambil dari lainnya," katanya.

Dengan harga relatif ringan di kantong, tidak heran tidak sedikit pengagum makanan bakso yang datang ke tempat ini. Pelanggan yang datang ke tempat ini, beberapa kategori usia baik anak-anak, pelajar, maupun pria dan wanita dewasa.

"Pada peristiwa Lebaran, pengunjung dapat berlipat-lipat yang datang. Hingga-sampai mobil dan kendaraan saya pindah ke lain tempat. Tempat parkir rumah, di sebelah warung, kami pergunakan untuk berjualan. Warung telah enggak muat, sebab tidak sedikitnya pengunjung yang datang," ucapnya.

Pada hari biasa setiap harinya, untuk membikin pentol bakso menghabiskan 1,5 kuintal daging. 

"Kalau hari raya, dapat hingga habis hingga empat kuintal daging dalam sehari," ujarnya.

Warung bakso Pak Ndut mulai buka sejak pagi pukul 08.00 WIB hingga tutup pukul 19.30 WIB.
